In the Boston University Engineering Department website revamp, with a focus on the Electrical and Computer Engineering section, my aim was to transform the site into a more accessible, informative, and engaging platform. This initiative was driven by the goal to make educational resources readily available for current students, while simultaneously showcasing the department's work in a manner that's comprehensible and appealing to those outside the engineering community, including prospective students.

Utilizing website development expertise and WordPress, the project introduced several key enhancements. We aimed to streamline access to resources, ensuring that students could easily find the information they needed. A significant aspect of the revamp was to feature the department’s achievements and research endeavors prominently. This not only highlights the department's contributions to the field of engineering but also serves to inspire and attract future students by providing a glimpse into the possibilities that BU Engineering offers.

Additionally, the updated website now showcases elements beyond academic pursuits, such as news articles detailing departmental achievements and stories from daily student life. These additions offer a holistic view of the BU Engineering experience, illustrating the vibrant community and the diverse opportunities available to students. The revamp has effectively transformed the department's online presence into a dynamic portal that reflects the innovation, collaboration, and excellence at the heart of BU Engineering.
