Revitalized BUGCC brand to align with 'professional with style,' enhancing visuals and merchandise.

As the marketing director of the Boston University Global China Connection (BUGCC), my role was to redefine and realign the organization's brand identity with its slogan 'professional with style.' This initiative involved a comprehensive redesign of the visual elements to embody a sleeker, more modern aesthetic that resonates with our mission and appeals to our audience.


One of the key aspects of this transformation was the logo redesign. The previous logo, while intricate, lacked clarity and failed to effectively communicate our brand’s essence. The new logo I designed is not only more legible but also seamlessly integrates elements that reflect professionalism and global connectivity, effectively encapsulating the spirit of BUGCC.


Additionally, I led the design of branded merchandise, including tote bags and T-shirts, which played a dual role in enhancing brand visibility and supporting our fundraising efforts. These items were crafted to be stylish yet functional, appealing directly to our target demographic of students and young professionals. The merchandise was both sold and given away during events, significantly boosting our brand presence on campus and reinforcing our message of combining professionalism with style.


Through these strategic design initiatives, we successfully elevated the BUGCC brand, making it more relevant and appealing to our community while supporting our goals of raising awareness and funds.
